About Me
Hello, I'm Grace.
I'm a consultant, coach, teacher and community builder based in Brooklyn, New York.
For nearly two decades, I've worked with creative people, businesses and some of the world's best-known brands — helping them grow, get clearer about who they are, build their reputation and turn good ideas into something real.
My career has taken me from London to New York and across some of the world's leading creative businesses. I moved to New York to help build Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR) in the US, later became Global Head of Brand at Bulletproof, and went on to serve as President of Center, leading the business and working at the intersection of creativity, brand and growth.
Along the way, I've worked with organisations including Apple, Mars Inc., Unilever, AB InBev, UNICEF and the Wildlife Conservation Society, as well as A-list talent, founders and emerging businesses — including work recognised by TIME as an Invention of the Year.
My work has been recognised by D&AD, Cannes Lions, The One Show, ADC, The Dieline and AICP. I've judged creative work for ADC, The Dieline, PRINT and New York Festivals, and spoken at places including the Fast Company Innovation Festival, The Dieline Conference and The One Club for Creativity's Founders Retreat.
I've also spent years teaching and mentoring emerging creative talent, including through SVA Masters in Branding, D&AD Shift and The Center for Fiction.
Over the years, I've realised that the part of the work I'm most interested in is often the same, whether I'm sitting with a founder, a leadership team, a coaching client or a room full of students: seeing what's possible, making sense of what's getting in the way, and helping people move forward.
Today, my work takes four forms: consulting, coaching, teaching and community.
Alongside my consulting work, I'm an ICF-accredited coach, working one-to-one with people navigating work, ambition, change and what comes next. I teach and mentor, and I created Pollen, an evening bringing creative women in New York together around conversation and connection.
They might look like different things, but to me they're closely related. I'm interested in people and ideas: what makes them distinctive, what they could become, and what might happen with the right clarity, support or connection.
I'm originally from the UK and have called New York home for more than a decade.
